Austin Weekly Events
- Traveling Chess Club – Follow @travelingchessclub on Instagram for locations/dates/times
- Austin Public Library Club – The Austin Public Library has chess activities at multiple locations
- Wednesdays at Southeast Library Branch – Casual play every other Wednesday afternoon
- Monthly Chess at the Lake Travis Community Library – Twice a month chess for all ages!
- Sunday afternoon Chess IRL. Drink and Play Chess! – Sundays at 1:00 – 3:00 pm. All ages welcome! A community driven club for real chess with real people and real pieces!
- Sunday Youth Open Play at the Cedar Park Library – All youth (with parents) welcome.
- Monday and Friday Chess at the South Austin Senior Activity Center – Twice weekly event! Please bring chess set and board. Mask not required.
- Monday Night Chess at Dobie Mall – Unrated chess tournament for all ages. $1 entry.
- Thursday Chess at Red Horn in Cedar Park – Casual chess for all levels!
- Saturday afternoons with the Pease Park Chess Club – FREE chess tournament every Saturday. Players of all skill levels are welcomed!
- Saturday Chess at the Austin Chess Club – The Austin Chess Club meets every Saturday 3p-8:30p, for both casual and rated play.

- Thursdays at Lion’s Field Adult Center (Adults only) – 5-8:30pm at Lion’s Field Adult Center, 2809 Broadway St (Ages 18 and above only; bring your own set)
- Friday Bughouse – Fridays 7:30pm to ~1:00am at either Whataburger, 11003 NW Military or Taco Palenque, 3847 Parkdale.
