Privacy Policy:

In the registration forms Austin Chess Tournaments may collect any of the following information: name, grade level, USCF ID, address, phone, and email. This information is only provided to the tournament organizers for any events that you have registered. When purchasing a US Chess Federation membership, a birthdate is required and it is only provided to the US Chess Federation. This information will never be sold or otherwise given to others or outside third parties except as required by law. Please contact the individual tournament organizer for their privacy policy if you need further information.

PayPal:

Austin Chess Tournaments occasionally uses PayPal for its transaction process. See the PayPal acceptable use policy for more information on PayPal’s policies, terms, and conditions. Austin Chess Tournaments has NO access to specific payment information (account, expiration date, etc).

Square:

Austin Chess Tournaments uses primarily Square  for its credit card processing. See the Square acceptable use policy for more information on Square’s policies, terms, and conditions. Austin Chess Tournaments has NO access to specific payment information (account, expiration date, etc).

Refunds:

The refund policy is determined by each individual tournament organizer. Any specific or unusual refund information will be provided in the tournament description. Please contact the individual tournament organizer or use the Contact Us form to request more or specific information. In general, full or partial refunds are granted as long as they are requested sufficiently prior to the first round of the tournament. Organizers may elect to impose a deadline date for refund requests or elect to reduce the refund by a service fee. Austin Chess Tournaments does request the organizer post this information in its listing if this is the case.
