From https://texaschess.org/2026-texas-scholastic-super-state-championship/:
We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Texas Scholastic “Super State” Championship will take place in Austin on March 7-8, 2026.
It has been nearly three decades since the capital has hosted our scholastic championship, and we are excited to bring it back. Players from across Texas will come together in Austin to compete for state titles in an unforgettable setting at the heart of our state.
In addition to state titles, select championship results will determine qualification for the 2026 Texas Junior Invitational, and team standings will be used to identify qualifying teams for the 2026 Lone Star Cup, a separate elite online team competition.
