Section Information:

1) open section - $30 entry fee, G/60, open to all players, but must be current USCF member, USCF rated. Note: The open section may last beyond 4pm!

2) under 1400 section - $20 entry fee, G/45, USCF rated.

3) under 750 section - $10 entry fee, G/30, USCF rated.

4) unrated section - $10 entry fee, G/30, unrated players only. This section is not rated.

Event Times and More:

Onsite Registration begins at 10:30 am. Pre-reserved entries must be paid by 10:50am! Bring your own tournament board & set & clock if possible.

Round 1 in each section begins at 11:00 am. Subsequent rounds will begin asap, after a lunch break. The Texas Union will be open for business.

Four rounds per section. One 1/2 point bye allowed, if requested before the start of round 2.

USCF membership:

Bring proof of current USCF membership - USCF ID card or receipt - or verify information with registrar in advance. You can purchase a USCF membership upon arrival.

Registration Information:

Tournament space is limited. To put your name on the pre-registration list, email Lori Balkum, registrar in advance, or call 512-417-9008. USCF membership may be purchased onsite. Pay onsite. Make checks payable to "AustinChessTournaments.com". Cash ok. No credit cards.
